To celebrate The Year 2000, World Mathematical Year and the Fête de la Science, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Palais de la Découverte in Paris, has brought together fourteen video films on mathematics in a trilingual collection, "MATHS 2000", aimed at a very wide audience.

The collection is designed for the French cultural network abroad (Cultural Departments, Centres and Institutes, multimedia libraries and resource centres in French Embassies) and its foreign partners for exclusively non-commercial public screenings.
